• Do I have to be published to join the League? No! The League of Romance Writers welcomes writers at all stages.
• Do you offer support for indie authors? Absolutely—The League of Romance Writers members are on both traditional, hybrid, and self-publishing paths.
• Are events in-person or virtual? The League offers virtual and in-person programs. 
• What genres do you support? While mainly focused on romance and its subgenres, our members include horror writers, mystery writers and nonfiction writers, and others. We design our programs.
• Can I attend as a guest? Guests can attend one regular monthly program a year for $10 without joining. If you join within 30 days of the program, your $10 will be credited toward dues. This does not apply to special programming.
• Do members get a discount for The Emily? Members receive $10 off each entry
• How much is membership? Membership is $55 for the year. If you join from July 1-Dec. 31, it’s $35. Members who renew between Jan. 1 and Jan. 31 will pay $45, a $10 discount.
• What if I miss a program? Most of our speakers allow us to record them, and these recordings are in the members area.
